A Fresh New Look for the Lovely House

At Accommodation in Abisko, we’re always looking for ways to improve our guests’ experience.

That means adding new accommodation options, upgrading amenities, or making thoughtful improvements behind the scenes, as we believe that the little details can make a big difference during your stay in the Arctic.

That’s why we’re excited to share the latest update to one of our most popular accommodations: the Lovely House in Abisko.

Investing in Comfort

The Lovely House has long been a favourite among guests who booked Lights Over Lapland’s Private Aurora Escape holidays. Its cozy atmosphere, spacious layout, private sauna, and beautiful surroundings make it the perfect home base for an Arctic adventure.

Over the years, hundreds of guests have walked through its doors, and we believe it’s important to continually reinvest in our properties to keep them comfortable, functional, and enjoyable for future visitors.

Most recently, we’ve completed a renovation of the home’s main bathroom and the shower area connected to the sauna.

We wanted to create a brighter, more modern space that would make guests feel comfortable from the moment they arrive.

The updated bathroom now offers a fresh new look while maintaining the warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes the Lovely House feel like home.

We love how the new design feels cleaner, more spacious, and better suited to the needs of modern travellers.

A Better Sauna Experience

For many guests, the sauna is one of the highlights of their stay in Abisko. After a day of Arctic adventures there’s nothing quite like stepping into the warmth of a traditional sauna.

That’s why we also renovated the shower area connected to the sauna.

The refreshed space offers a more modern and comfortable experience while preserving the cozy character of the house.

While guests visit Abisko for many different reasons throughout the year (from experiencing the northern lights in winter to enjoying the midnight sun, hiking, and photography in summer) it’s the overall experience that makes a trip truly memorable.

Comfortable accommodation, thoughtful amenities, and welcoming spaces all contribute to the memories our guests take home with them.

That’s why we continue to invest in our properties year after year. From major renovations like this one to smaller improvements behind the scenes, our goal is always the same: to create the best possible experience for every guest who stays with us.

As we continue welcoming guests from around the world to Abisko, we’ll keep looking for ways to make our accommodations even better. The Lovely House is just one part of our growing collection of accommodations. In recent years, we’ve also introduced the Abisko Panorama House, offering guests spectacular views over Lake Torneträsk and the surrounding mountains, while continuing to make improvements to the Abisko Hostel to provide a comfortable and affordable option for independent travellers.
